30-min walkthrough · Canadian time zones · no sales pressure
Built for Canadian healthcare.
Six things clinics + hospitals asked us to handle out of the box.
01PHIPA + PIPEDA aligned by default.
Consent capture at the door, audit-logged, stored in Canada. Patient deletion respected. Audit-retention horizons configurable per province.
02SMS-OTP for identity.
Verify the patient is who they say they are before they sign. SMS challenge to the number on file. Logged on the cert page.
03Smart Fields for repeating demographics.
Type Name + DOB + Health Card once, propagates to every form in the bundle. No re-typing across intake, consent, treatment plan.
04Conditional consents per procedure.
Hide / show consent blocks based on procedure code. One template handles every variation, signer only sees what applies to them.
05Custom branding for trust.
Your clinic logo, your accent color, your domain on outbound email. Patients trust YOUR brand, not a third-party signing tool.

Questions, answered.
PHIPA vs PIPEDA — what’s the difference?
PHIPA is Ontario’s health-specific framework. PIPEDA is federal commercial privacy law. Both require explicit consent + audit retention + Canadian residency for sensitive data. Ink. satisfies both: consent at the door, audit-logged, ca-central-1 hosted.
Where is patient data stored?
Supabase Postgres + Storage in ca-central-1 (Montréal). No data leaves Canada — including backups + replicas. Provincial residency requirements satisfied.
Audit retention horizon?
Configurable 2–15 years. Match provincial health-record requirements (Ontario PHIPA: 10 years past last contact for adults; pediatric records 10 years past age of majority).
Integration with EMR systems?
Webhook + signed-PDF delivery to your EMR’s inbound endpoint. Roadmap: native integrations with Telus PS Suite + OSCAR Pro in 2026.
Identity verification options?
SMS-OTP (one-tap), email-OTP, or attachment-based photo ID. Each option logs to the cert page with timestamp + method.
Can patients sign on their phone?
Yes, fully responsive. 2x magnifier on the signature field. Most patients complete intake on phone in under 3 minutes.
